Brief Bio

Frank R. Schmidt received a "Vordiplom" degree in Mathematics (2000), and a "Diplom" degree in Mathematics (2003). From 2004 to 2005, he worked in the Research Group for Multimedia Signal Processing at the University of Bonn (Germany) headed by Michael Clausen.

From January 2006 until March 2010, he was a PhD student in the Research Group for Computer Vision at the University of Bonn (Germany) headed by Daniel Cremers.

From April 2010 until September 2017 he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher under supervisions of Yuri Boykov, Hugues Talbot, Thomas Brox and Daniel Cremers.

In October 2017 he joined the BCAI in Renningen, Germany.
